Our Wine Bar
We’ve been creating & bottling Laissez Faire Wines for 15 years, sourcing grapes from local vineyards here in the Snake River Valley. Yet, we’ve always wanted to create a space just for these European-inspired wines to stand on their own with creative “small appetizers”, (what the Spanish might call “tapas” or the Basque “pintxos” ). That’s why we created this special wine bar known as Laissez Faire Wine Co. Here we celebrate the enjoyment of locally crafted, affordable wines (and beers) alongside “small bite” food pairings.
Come visit our gathering space, no reservations needed, lots of outdoor seating! Indoor 21+ ONLY. Outside dogs and children welcome.

When you do visit you’ll notice a few things unique about us. There will always be a selection of red and white wines on tap, a practice that brings fresh, creative wines to you in a lower-cost, environmentally sustainable manner. We were the first daho Winery to place our wines in kegs nearly 15 years ago and we love filling up your flask so you can enjoy your wine here or on your next adventure. Get a flask during your next visit and fill up on gorgeous, local wine. You won’t be disappointed! If wine isn’t calling your attention then enjoy one of our locally sourced beers, a wine cocktail, or our NA selections.
Small Bites
Picnic Supplies, a Wine Window and More!
Our small bites are constantly changing and evolving so our menu is always something fun to explore. We keep it simple and the offerings limited but we guarantee that you’ll enjoy the taste and quality of our small bites. We hope you find our place a perfect spot for happy hour, a visit with friends, a stop off before an event or a fun way to close out the evening. We also have a small retail section if you need to take some supplies on your picnic or back to your home for a party. Oh..and why you’re here check out our “Wine Window”..we think it might be Idaho’s first, it makes ordering from out on the gorgeous patio very easy. Come enjoy the beauty of the outdoors!
PARKING IS FREE!!!
Guests visiting Laissez Faire have several parking options that are FREE. A FREE parking lot is available at the end of 41st and at the end of 40th Street. Just NO OVERNIGHT parking please.
If you’re looking for other parking options, there are a limited number of parallel parking spots along 41st Street.
Alternatively, free parking is available at Veterans Memorial Park across the river—just off Veterans Parkway. From there, it’s a short and scenic walk across the greenbelt footbridge to reach the Boardwalk retail area.
